Alfred Smith Playground

Approaching Alfred Smith Playground, the girls and I were excited.  A firetruck!  Bench swings (Be careful, kids slide off easily)!  Monkey bars Annie can ALMOST reach!  This playground has a lot of potential.  I even like the skateboarders who hang out outside the fences. There's nothing like a little sporting event while we eat our snacks.  However, this playground was very littered, and very out of order.  No bathrooms or sprinklers makes this park a less-than-ideal destination.  With a little bit of care, this playground would be a great place to spend the afternoon.

Playground One

Madison St. & Oliver St.

Well, there isn't much to say about Playground One.  Small, empty, and dirty, this park is only good incase of emergencies.  The benches were surrounded in all sorts of trash which brought all sorts of bugs.  The picture above shows about 90% of the park.  However, you should know that this girls still loved it here.  We found a bouncy ball on the ground, climbed the monkey bars, and ran around the jungle gym as many times as we could.  But as an adult, this park is at the bottom of my list.
